Class 37 Thrash
Posted by: Tom in Sound Recording, tags: 37424, class 37, dawlish warren, dieselOn the 2nd June, 2008, DRS owned 37423 worked light from Crewe to Plymouth as 0Z50, ready to collect a convoy of preserved diesels from the South Devon Railway the following day. The service was timed into the down platform at Dawlish Warren to let a Voyager pass, and in this recording we hear it getting away from the platform with a rate of acceleration that would make an F1 driver jealous!
